SIMER 6 or SIMER 6S: which one?

The same hydraulics, a different working regime. A short guide based on how you use the pump.
Same pump, different control
The SIMER 6 (article 6010004) and SIMER 6S (6010005S) share everything that does the pumping: 240 W, 100 l/min, 6.5 m head, IP68, aluminium motor housing and a VORTEX impeller. The difference is the 6S's built-in level switch.
Pick the 6 when you are there
If you are present while pumping — clearing a roof, a terrace after a downpour, a pool — you want to decide when the pump stops and strip the floor to 2 mm. An automatic switch cuts out earlier.
The 6 is also the cheaper of the two: €259 excl. VAT against €359.
Pick the 6S for unattended work
A cellar that floods with every rain shower, an excavation to keep dry overnight, a damp crawl space: that is 6S territory. The built-in level switch starts and stops the pump with nobody on site.
It also protects the motor: the pump only runs when there is water.

Plenty of contractors carry both: the 6S as a permanent guard at the customer, the 6 as the finishing pump.
